Innovation Award for FIBRAFIX® TX-R
The 201 SIMEI includes for the first time an “Enological, viticultural Innovation Prize”.FILTROX invested into research to find a solution to remove off-tastes (e.g. cork taint) from wine.
FIBRAFIX® TX-R depth filter sheets are an effective method of removing TCA (2, 4, 6-trichloroanisole) from wine and other beverages. Contrary to other methods of TCA-removal, TX-R sheets do not damage original aroma or flavor. The FIBRAFIX® TX-R filter sheets contain TRIEX® (patent pending), an inorganic compound. All materials are food grade and FDA approved.
The SIMEI organization committee awarded FIBRIFIX® TX-R with an “Honorable Mention”. FILTROX is a proud awardee and will continue to invest finding solutions to remove further off-tastes from wine and other beverages.
